Writing English Paper about Melee

Hey Everybody,

I am not new to the SSBM community. I am, however, brand new to the smashboards. I have been playing smash ever since I was a little kid, haven't we all, and I thought it would be a good topic for my english paper.

I am supposed to write a paper on folklore. Any folklore. I chose to write it on the Super Smash Brothers Melee community. I can not just write a paper on 'SSBM Folklore' as that is too broad and i'm sure entire books can be written about that. Instead, I am looking to write it on a more specific topic in SSBM folklore. I have a couple ideas, like folklore that stems from the unique competitive nature of SSBM, or folklore that stems from the pride players have when playing the game.

I am asking all those who are more experienced on the smashboards for any ideas. Any at all. Thanks Everybody!

Depending on how long it has to be and how good you are at writing you could probably do it about FalcoMaster3000. His tournament run and identity would probably make for a more interesting English paper them than many of the alternatives since it's far more "mysterious" and has more hype around it.

I'm sure the tournament VODs are around somewhere so you can watch and maybe listen to some commentary if they had any.
