I decided today that I probably needed a Battle.net account since I'm trying to get into the Starcraft II beta...
I found out to get into Beta I needed a game registered...SO I look through all my games, and found ONE that had a code...World of Warcraft...
I bought it when it first came out but never installed it because I found out you had to pay monthly.
I registered the game to my battle.net and found out I get a month free on World of Warcraft...So I decided to install it. That's where the trouble began...
After waiting for the installation to be complete, it asks for my World of Warcraft account...
I'm not sure if that is different than my Battle.net account so I try entering that in.
It didn't have enough room for my E-mail address, which is what I use to Log INTO Battle.net so I entered my "First name" because that's what is written at the top of the battle.net account management thing. It worked than it installed some updates...
However, it than said "Restart World of Warcraft" and had a button. I clicked it...and it connected to the Installation menu...
It wants me to install world of warcraft again...but not from the CD's (Which would be fast) but from the internet...(Which is SLOW with my connection).
I think the trouble is that I registered the game to my Battle.net account BEFORE installing it onto my computer...If anyone can help me...
