Yea, so I'm posting a RMT, and it's the first team I actually liked. When DP first came out, I ran a Sandstream team, but everyone and their mothers had a Sandstream team, so I decided to be original and started over, coming up with a team meant for OU play composed of mainly BL and UU Pokemon. I ended up with something like Typhlosion, Slowking, Cloyster, and some other stuff, but while it was original and I did relatively well, it didn't do as well as I had hoped. Slowking just isn't Blissey =/ Sooooo enough rambling. I decided to start from scratch again, made a team, tested it, made changes, tested it again, etc etc until I ended up with this. This did fairly well so far, about a 12-2 record I believe.

Weavile @ Expert Belt
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 40 HP/252 Atk/216 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Pursuit
- Ice Punch
- Brick Break
- Night Slash

Blah blah boring old Weavile lead. My team doesn't like Gengar. One of the times I lost was bad prediction on my part and switching this thing into a Nasty Plotted HP [Fighting] because I was expecting another Nasty Plot. :[

Gliscor @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 252 HP/6 Atk/252 Def
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Roost
- Earthquake
- Ice Fang

Obligatory Gliscor. I have no other answer to Heracross. Even Torkoal takes quite a bit from Close Combat. I might take Knock Off over Stealth Rock, but I really need Stealth Rock support on Gliscor (See Torkoal).

Blissey @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 Def/40 SAtk/216 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Wish
- Protect
- Ice Beam
- Toxic

Obligatory prostitute for specs kids. There are times when I have wished I used Flamethrower or Thunderbolt instead, but in my experience, Ice Beam has served more purposes. This team also begs Wish support, which Blissey very nicely supplies. I debated Calm and Bold for a while, and concluded that Calm would be preferred, as Heatran pretty much 2HKOs Torkoal with a Fire attack.

Breloom @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 44 HP/252 Atk/212 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Substitute
- Leech Seed
- Focus Punch
- Spore

I can't begin to describe how many times Breloom has saved my *** in tight situations. This little guy is just win.

Torkoal @ Leftovers
Ability: White Smoke
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 SAtk
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Explosion
- Rapid Spin
- Lava Plume
- Toxic

WTF? Yes. It's a Torkoal. Not the best spinner, but he does get the job done with Wish support. I use Torkoal because counters Infernape rather well. Also, Torkoal scares out the 2 primary Spikers in OU, Skarmory and Forretress. WoW isn't on here because I thought 3 statuses on a team would be a bit too much and Lava Plume has a relatively high chance of burning. I'd rather Toxic Swampert switch ins instead. I'm really considering Earthquake/HP [Ground/Grass/Ice] > Explosion at the moment. I've never been able to get in a single Explosion yet, and getting more coverage is nice. If I use Knock Off on Gliscor, I'll move Stealth Rock on this guy over Explosion, but I'd really prefer not to, as Torkoal barely even gets in the Rapid Spin when he does get in.

Lapras @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 126 HP/252 Def/76 SAtk/54 SDef
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Substitute
- Toxic

My answer to Gyarados. Given EVs OHKO standard BulkyDos after it switches into Stealth Rock in Sandstream. Toxic is nice in general and Substitute is almost filler, but a necessary precaution against accidentally Thunderbolting an Electivire, which this team is rather weak
against.

k, so rate away? I realize Starmie can fill Torkoal's role as Infernape counter + Spinner and Lapras's role as boltbeaming Gyara counter simultaneously. However, Lapras does its job better, taking ~35% from a Stone Edge, which most Gyaradoses don't even carry. As for threats...

Tyranitor --> Gliscor, Breloom
Gyrados --> Lapras, Breloom (If Waterfall/EQ), Gliscor (If SE/EQ)
Infernape --> Torkoal, Blissey if pure special, Gliscor if pure physical.
Azelf --> Weavile, Blissey.
Rhyperior --> Gliscor, Lapras
Electivire --> I hate this thing. I have to switch around to scout for moveset and see which one of my party it can't hit SE on. A lot of the time, it can hit my entire party SE. LOed Ice Punch does ~85% to Gliscor and I can EQ back for OHKO, and that's the best I can do. So some issues with this thing.
Heracross --> Gliscor
Salamence --> Gliscor if physical, Blissey if special. Lapras. Weavile.
Togekiss --> Blissey. Weavile.
Gengar --> Weavile. Blissey.
Garchomp --> Weavile. Gliscor.
Raikou --> Blissey. Toxic if I can. If I can't, Tbolt after 6 CMs can't 2HKO me. I'll PP Stall Tbolt if I have to.
Lucario --> Don't like it. Gliscor for physical, Blissey for special. Mixed is really problematic though. Might have to sac and revenge kill.
Tauros --> Gliscor.
Starmie --> Blissey. Lapras. Weavile.
Weavile --> Torkoal. Lapras.
Dugtrio --> If it can't OHKO me, it's dead.
Alakazam --> Weavile, Blissey.
Porygon Z --> Blissey.
Celebi --> Torkoal, Blissey, Weavile.
Jirachi --> Torkoal, Blissey, Gliscor.
Medicham --> Gliscor. Predict Ice Punches. These things are always Choiced anyway.
Staraptor --> Gliscor. Torkoal.
Heatran --> Blissey.
Slowbro --> Blissey, Lapras, Weavile.
Machamp --> Gliscor. Predict Ice Punches.
Jolteon --> Blissey.
Aerodactyl --> Gliscor.
Snorlax--> Breloom.
Zapdos --> Blissey, Weavile.
Suicune --> Lapras, Breloom if it Rests.
Sceptile--> Blissey. Gliscor for physical.
Breloom --> Gliscor after it Spores something else.
Slaking --> Gliscor. Protect every other turn on Blissey.
Tangrowth--> Gliscor after it Spores. Breloom. Torkoal. Lapras if it switches in.
Ninjask --> I'll deal with the BP target. It's only switching in twice thanks to SR anyway.
Metagross --> Gliscor. Torkoal if no EQ.
Yanmega --> Blissey. Lapras.

Defenders

Blissey --> Breloom.

I'm really really bored from filling that out. I'll do the rest if I feel like it, but you get the idea.

Weezing -->
Rhyperior -->
Scizor -->
Vaporeon -->
Umbreon-->
Porygon2 -->
Lanturn-->
Forretress -->
Gliscor -->
Steelix -->
Skarmory -->
Donphan -->
Hippowdon-->
Uxie-->
Cresselia-->
Jirachi -->
Empoleon -->
Bidoof -->
Bronzong -->
Spiritomb -->
Mesprit -->
Shaymin -->
Miltank -->
Swampert-->
Ludicolo -->

Claydol -->
Cradily -->

Hurray for being original :ohwell:

Boring is right. Still good though. Hates Gengars with Focus Sash and Focus Blast.

Gliscor @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 252 HP/6 Atk/252 Def
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Roost
- Earthquake
- Ice Fang

Gliscor rules, 'nuff said...

Blissey @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 Def/40 SAtk/216 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Wish
- Protect
- Ice Beam
- Toxic

Obligatory prostitute for specs kids. There are times when I have wished I used Flamethrower or Thunderbolt instead, but in my experience, Ice Beam has served more purposes. Frickin \/\/hore...Not only that, but it's a ToxicStalling \/\/hore...

Breloom @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 44 HP/252 Atk/212 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Substitute
- Leech Seed
- Focus Punch
- Spore

I can't begin to describe how many times Breloom has saved my *** in tight situations. This little guy is just win.

Good, as usual...

Torkoal @ Leftovers
Ability: White Smoke
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 SAtk
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Explosion
- Rapid Spin
- Lava Plume
- Toxic

Never seen Torkoal used before, except on Light's Team Tropic. Looks fine, walled by Rocks and Heatran though. HP Ground would counter those nicely.

Lapras @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 126 HP/252 Def/76 SAtk/54 SDef
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Substitute
- Toxic

against.

But you're not running Sandstream...
I have never seen an RMT out of you. Wow.

Not bad. Of course you noticed an Electivire weakness. While Gliscor takes ~85% damage from a Life Orb boosted Ice Punch, HP Ice is a different story; MixVire will REALLY toss a wrench in your gears. Even against that, it doesn't look like the team will be taken down too easily, especially with the Wish support and Toxics floating around.

I give it a
9/10, and a boot to the head
.

Yea, HP [Ice] Electivire would screw this up relatively badly, and my only response to that is to Toxic with one of my 3 Toxicers and switch around for LO + poison to kill it. =/ Fortunately, nothing Electivire throws can OHKO Torkoal or Lapras, even if it is super effective. Thunderbolt comes close on Torkoal though. I'm not too worried about that though, since most carry Ice Punch instead of HP [Ice]. And also, I'll probably move around some EVs on Lapras and might just settle for a 2HKO on Gyarados, as securing a guaranteed OHKO is taking away too many EVs from SpDef =/ If Electivire really starts giving me trouble though, I'll switch Lapras + Torkoal for a Starmie and add in Swampert or something. But I prefer not to, since I like Lapras and Torkoal's novelty.

Any other opinions?
