What the hell? That would be the stupidest thing ever in a video game! It would kill 99% of the fun.

I wouldnt. I love Smash gameplay, but there needs to be substantial content from the previous games to be worthy of my money. And Smash has quickly become a favorite series of mine too.

No, I wouldn't buy it. I'd be buying Melee with some tweaked physics, some swapped characters here and there, and new items.

No way. Not worth it.

Then again the big N was going to do that in the first place but add WiFi...And thinking how WiFi's been up to now I bet it would have sucked....

I would buy it no matter what they did but it would suck that they wouldn't have done more with it.

It wouldn't even be melee 2.0. It would be melee 1.5.

It would be a step down, so I probably wouldn't buy it at first. I'd play my friend's until the price dropped.

It wouldn't be something I'd buy in its first month. I'd be all "meh, nothing new, big disappointment :/". I'd eventually buy it though.


Thank god Sakurai decided to direct the game.

If it was as addicting as Melee (It fits all your details), then I would buy it, no doubt. There would be more non-wifi tournaments as well, so I have nothing to complain about.

Suppose, but I wouldn't have been checking the updates, and I wouldn't be pre-ordering from Japan, and I CERTAINLY wouldn't have bought a Japanese Wii specifically to play it.

Also, before you flame me for buying a Japanese Wii ("ZOMG 2 WEEKS") I live in ENGLAND. It's not coming out for MONTHS. Also I'd be happy to be a source of juicy info for y'all!
