I was playing shin megami tensei IV, and thought about all of the stuff that came with it. A strategy guide, a soundtrack, both alongside the game as bonuses, only a small $10 more.

It was then I was struck with a realization that smash should have this, not a guide, but soundtrack. Smash is known for its music, so what better way to celebrate it than a soundtrack. Then fans could listen to the songs on the go.

Now my question to you, would you pay $10 more for a soundtrack?

I'd probably just wait for the soundtrack to be uploaded to Youtube, personally.

But for on the go? Maybe I'd pay a little extra.

Smash isn't exactly known for its music as you claim, but the idea is neat. I'd probably buy it if it has good song choices.

I'd be up with a soundtrack. I have a few game soundtracks and there are a few pieces in Brawl for example I'd like to hear whenever the mood takes me.

Well, smash is known for having amazing music. Brawl's soundtrack is one of the only things people can agree on.

Yeah, but the way it was phrased made it sound like it was the one thing it was best known for, or maybe I'm just reading it oddly.

I would be surprised if this is not a part of an inevitable product bundle. Perhaps Wii U version + 3DS version + OST.

It's not exactly a bonus if you're paying more money. :p

It depends on how complete the soundtrack is and the quality of the sound. If the in-game audio is compressed and the soundtrack isn't, then definitely. A complete sound track is probably unlikely considering the volume of music in the games now. If the soundtrack was select, I'd have to find out what tracks are on the album first. I don't want to get stuck with crazy tunes chosen haphazardly.

What I would pay for is DLC music packs if they came out after the game's release. I loved Brawl's soundtrack and I'd like to see them expand the list of music after finishing the game.

Most of the music would just go up onto Youtube anyways, and the music really isn't anything I'd download onto a portable device as to listening to it for a little bit.
