As a Dedede main, why would I ever buy more taunts? All DDD needs to do is crouch. Why use taunts to BM?

Custom taunts could be nice. It would be a nice way to replace taunts that just seem either out of place or inappropriate to your play style. I'd be fine with this.

I've always wondered why each character has 3 taunts, when they could logically have 4 (1 for each direction on the d-pad). But, ultimately, I don't really care enough about taunts to be willing to pay for more.

Nah. I think most characters have at least one good taunt, and I really don't think any new taunt would be enough of a draw for me to spend actual money on it.
