Giga Bowser is an actual character with a character ID, and landmasters/bosses aren't.

I'm pretty sure there is a code out there to allow you to control bosses, but not in multi-player mode, just while facing them.

However, there is a more complicated way to play as them in multi-player modes. Model swap the boss over a character, then create new animations or put its old animations over that characters animations, and create a moveset that resembles the bosses. Landmaster would be the same.

Yes you can control bosses in 1P mode but you can't really "play" as them, like you can play as Giga Bowser. And the model swap is complicated and requires more than just code.

So yeah um I pretty much know what I'm talking about.

But the model swapping concept isn't really that hard, the only real hard part is creating the moveset.

Well the point is that there is no one code that lets you play as them, which is what the OP asked for
