Just downloaded project m today with a couple buddies of mine in college and we we're blown away by what we have been missing this entire time. Project M is a masterpiece. But unfortunately i was sad to know that Hyrule Castle replaces Bridge of Eldin. Hyrule Castle is amazing, dont get me wrong, but is there a way to have both of the maps instead of just one?
While we're talking about maps, why not just have all of the maps from brawl along with everything else? Or would that be too much for the game engine to handle or something
Thanks!
The way stage editing works is that, in simple terms, people make/download a stage and then put it over a pre-existing one. So in this case, the stage Hyrule Castle was placed over Bridge of Eldin.
If you want Bridge of Eldin back, then all you have to do is go into your SD card and go through the following directory:
projectm>pf>stage>melee and delete the stage called STGOLDIN.PAC. This is the file that loads Hyrule Castle over the Bridge of Eldin stage, so simply deleting it will revert Hyrule Castle back to Bridge of Eldin.
If, however, you want to keep Hyrule Castle and place it over a different stage, it becomes a lot more complicated. It involves moving around .rel files. If you want to know more about that, just ask, though it might be better to ask someone else about that.
Stages Replaced:
PM Distant Planet > Brawl Distant planet (file: STGEARTH.pac)
Dracula's Castle > Luigi's Mansion (file: STGMANSION.pac)
Yoshi's Story > Yoshi's Island (melee) (file: STGDXYORSTER.pac)
Dreamland 64 > Green Greens (melee) (file: STGDXGREENS.pac)
Fountain of Dreams > Mario Bros. (file: STGFAMICOM.pac)
Fourside > New Pork City (file: STGNEWPORK.pac)
PM Green Hill Zone > Brawl Green Hill Zone (file: STGGREENHILL.pac)
Kongo Jungle > 75m (file: STGDONKEY.pac)
Metal Cavern > Mushroomy Kingdom (file: STGMARIOPAST_00.PAC, STGMARIOPAST_01.PAC)
and so on and so forth.
This is a list of the replaced stages:

Long story short, if you want to revert stages back to their Brawl form, just delete the stages that load over them. You can't have both unless you're willing to write a file over another stage.
