Would bringing back Falco's Brawl reflector through a taunt work?

I know I'm in the minority here, but I really liked how Falco's reflector worked in Brawl. How he kicked it. I know why people prefer the Melee one though. Anyway, would it be possible for Falco to switch between PM and Brawl reflector modes through a taunt similar to how Samus switches beams? He even has a taunt where he tosses his reflector that would work perfectly. More options couldn't hurt, right?

I enjoyed using it, and it would make Falco more unique. Besides, it would just be an option. You wouldn't have to use it, and Falco certainly wouldn't be any worse for having it.

I think it would work if you replaced the taunt animation with the v brawl reflector animation using brawlbox, then use psa to copy all the data from his brawl reflector and paste it over the taunt data.

I just like the idea of kicking the reflector. It doesn't have to function exactly like it did in Brawl. It could be used just to give him another option. Either way it'd just be an option. Wouldn't effect him in any negative way.

Neither of these posts were necessary. He asked whether falco's reflector kick was possible and whether more options could hurt him.

To @ ThePlacidPlatypus i believe this has been asked a number of times before and so far the answer is no. I think it's possible to make it as @ Paradoxium stated but nobody's actually done it yet. More options couldn't hurt i agree. In fact i wouldn't mind if it were wolf who got the reflector kick. It seems unlikely however so just get used to playing falco as he is because this suggestion doesn't look like it's gonna happen officially.

The problem isn't that you dropped your opinion.It's that you guys ignored and left his question unanswered while providing your own opinion. If you had answered the question first i'd have nothing to complain about but throwing your opinion out there while partially ignoring the op kinda irks me but it's nbd at this point.

Thanks for the feedback. I don't really expect them to do anything like this, but was wondering if it was at least in the realm of possibility.

Falco is a Melee top tier. He is already amazing. Even though the Brawl Shine is trash and has no tool uses, it would still be giving a top tier character an new option and a new tool to use witch is something I just don't see them giving an already excellent character yet another tool. People complained enough that he could DACUS and use B reversal. This would just be a disaster. And besides.. Brawl shine is garbage!

Yes it is possible, you could probably do it yourself.

I always kinda hoped they'd somehow work Falco's Brawl Reflector into some other character. It was a pretty cool move, it just has no use for Melee Falco.

Coulda given it to Lucas or something, then we'd hardly be in the mess we're in now with that character! Kappa

Oh no falco with the ability to spike, we're doomed.
In all seriousness Brawls shine seems easy to implement (to me as someone who didn't make pm) but there's no point. Outside of pleasing the few people that enjoyed Brawl Falco and Melee Falco and want the reflector from brawl to probably just taunt cause it's bad.

It's not a question of is it doable because I 100% believe it is, it is a question of is it worth doing, which I would personally say no to.

I think if would be neat if they made it into a taut. Cause the animation he does is kinda stylish. It should be like his side taunt, or maybe one of those Easter egg taunts. No hit box of course.

Kinda nullifies the rest of your post considering this is PM but.... Although falco has been carried over 1:1 with his melee iteration and with the next update most characters with good recoveries are getting indirect nerfs, he still doesn't dominate the cast as he did in melee. A change like this wouldn't automatically make him OP, but at the same time it wouldn't really add much too him besides simply pleasing brawl and smash 4 fans. As 9bit said, the most you can hope for with this specific move in mind is for it to be added onto another character. A taunt wouldn't really make sense either because it would look like an attack, especially for those coming from brawl or the smash4 environment. My hope was that wolf would get it but again I'm not expecting anything.
