Smash Journeyman
The DLC for Smash 4 may have concluded, and that might mean the end of the unprecedented Smash ballot, but that means a lot of those fan polls and surveys are done with and people have moved on.
I can understand why, as those polls were mainly a way to guess at which character(s) had the best shot at being part of the DLC, which was virtually the only thing most of us cared for.
But I kind of liked seeing the results of these polls. I saw interest in characters I never expected to see be so popular, and I even had the chance to learn about more obscure characters that others were passionate about. And these polls and surveys made the community feel lively in many ways that it doesn't necessarily now. (But I still like this community a lot as it is right now.)
Don't get me wrong, I can move on from these polls. Focusing on pure Smash can always be fun.
But my question to all of you is really just this- would you be interested in conducting, participating in, and/or seeing the results of Smash polls/surveys in the future, even if there was no implicit goal (e.g. the Smash ballot)?
