worst anti-drug speech ever.

A few days ago, while I was at school, our class had been called down to our school auditorium to hear an anti drug drug speech about meth. but in the presentation (Im not making this up)they had told us how much it costs, the ingredients, where to get recipes, and to even watch out for fake recipes on the internet. It was also offensive, because almost every time they mentioned somebody doing meth they were always mexican.

I watched a documentary about meth on tv once. Crazy stuff. It was enough to never make me want to go near it(not like I would've anyways), and loathe the people who make it.

Meth is some pretty crazy stuff. My uncle used to do it, and it messed him up big time. He's now a high rolling lawyer.

The bit about where to get recipes is absolutely crazy, but I think it was a good idea to tell you to watch out for fake recipes. As bad as meth is, it's worse to end up making something that'll kill you outright.

I hate addictive drugs, heroin (and i suppose meth) is one of societies true evils, they really do destroy lives. I mean i smoke weed and I've done hallucogenics, but drugs with addictive qualities end up destroying people.

Nope, that pretty much was your question. 'Chronic' is weed with higher THC content than regs or mids or whatever due to the way it's grown or the particular strand you're growing.

EDIT: Never mind. We're both right. Some regions refer to chronic as being weed with coke laced in it, some to just refer to potent green. Either way, white widow's whitenesss is not provided by coke, but by crystals of THC.

Either way, smoking crack probably wont kill you right off the bat unless you overdose on it.

yea now that i think about it in cali, chronic is referred to as just being a potent strand of weed. but all my ghetto friends on the EC say chronic is weed w/ crack. so double meaning i guess.

i think salvia has some bad long term effects if done regularly...but not just from one try. lol i wanna try it...but from what ive seen it does not look like a good feeling.

Does anyone know why different kinds of weed seem to give different highs? THC is THC, right? I get this too. Always noticed a different high with hash as well.

I know little, but weed comes in many forms, and you can obviously consume it in many ways. I assume the care that went into growing the plant, how fresh it is, and what form it's in dictates what kind of high you get.

Haha, my entire direct family does weed, and I'm the only one who doesn't, and know a retardedly small amount about it.

The first time I ever got high was on accident even. I was at my brother's house(he lived three houses away and my bf at the time lived with him). He had brownies on the table, and I figured if they were "special" he wouldn't have left them out. I ate three big pieces. By the end of the day(or something, lul, I didn't know what time it was), I could hardly move and just slept a ton(consuming weed is a lot more potent). Ha, it was lots of fun at first, though.

I had always figured that while some variations are more powerful, they'd just produce more powerful but similar effects, all being the same drug, but you can't get the same high you get from hash as you might get from skunk no matter how much you smoke. Might just be placebo or something like that. Weird stuff.

My civics teacher in 9th grade had a similar story which he told us all (a few times). He worked as a caterer for parties in his 20s delivering food to tables. One party, some people had left some special brownies in the back room where they stored food that wouldn't fit on the table so they could bring it out later. He had no idea about the brownies, and every time he went back in to the room to get more food, he'd grab one, thinking no one would notice if a few brownies went missing. After his fifth brownie, he got to talking to one of the party guests. After a while, the guest leant in to tell my teacher a secret. "Try one of those brownies in the back, man. They've got some dynamite dope in." (This was the sixties so everyone talked like a complete ****). At this point in telling us the story he launched in to some defensive rant about how it was the only time he ever did it and how we should be wary of dangerous controlled substances until he finally lost track of what he was talking about and went back to teaching us sweet **** all about the American judicial system.

Alcohol has killed/affected peoples health more people than cannabis ever has.

Yet its totally legal, probably because of the huge tax benefits it gives to the goverment.

Heroin (smack), Cocaine (crack) and meth are horrible. I hate them with a passion, they suck people in and don't let go until they've destroyed them.

I'd like to point out also, that cannabis is legal in Amsterdam, what does that say if a country has gone and legalised a certain substance?

Yeah, I only smoke/eat(lul)weed from time to time because it feels good. What other reasons are there to willingly do something? Pot doesn't have huge health effects unless you do it a lot. You also can't OD on pot(while too much alcohol can kill you).

I don't agree with things like meth at all, though. It's awful. I don't necessarily lose respect for people who do those drugs, I just feel kind of sorry for them. They made a seriously wrong choice that is insanely hard to recover from.

lol, yeah, i dont know what i expected, but still, harming health for pleasure has always seemed stupid to me. I still don't get why intelligent people drink, smoke, or do drugs, or anything like that. There are plenty of other ways to get good feelings (raises eyebrows in a sexual manner), and if you need anything i mentioned above to do that, you might need to reconsider ever doing it again.
