Won my first tourny with jiggz!!!! (youtube and filefront videos help my jiggz)

Hey everyone I just won my first tourney with jiggz. I am so happy it is like my third tourney that i mained jiggz with and my first tourney won ever. my other two i placed 12 out of 75( i lost to enix moogle ranked 5 in arizona and erich number 2 in New Mexico it was very close though) and 3rd out of 8 in a durango biweekly. The one i won last night had 12 people (biggest durango tourney yet). My next big tourney will probably be the Farmington tourney with about 70 or so people.

note: I just started to jump out of my shield and sometimes i rolled towards my opponant and got owned.

Please criticize me but give me advice too don't just trash me for my mistakes I need help not people telling me my jiggz sucks or anything.

:50 top tier taunt i had to look through the lense of the camera to pull that off. Got me killed but most defiantly a classic, I felt comfortable i was going to beat this guy so the lost stock wasn't a big deal.

I go to school in durango though so i am not home(denver) in november but play the other smashers out there they are good specially meleemarth and spiritdragon.

it takes forever to upload videos 5 hours for 8 videos and filefront and i gave up with youtube until i finish with filefront.

the durango smash scene is growing we are a small town with less then 10k people only 3-4 hardcore smashers. we had 12 show up at this but only 5 cared to watch finals the rest we are trying to teach how to play so they were practicing

congrats. Not too shabby I only watched three of the vids, but good job. Spacing against that Marth seemed a little off for you.

The reason why you missed that Ganon rest was he was tumbling, and as the rest hitbox is jiggs' forehead you just missed. The Ganon's leg rolled up and just left the hit box before you hit downB.

Self-destruct = let your shield break (If you weren't being sarcastic).

You played very well. It seems like the players you played were definitely not used to a WoP strategy. The Ganon in particular should have used retreating fairs over your aerials, reverse upair to stop your own WoP. My brother plays a very good Ganon and he hates this matchup (even though he holds his own with those tactics) because I know him inside out, and I am particularly good at catching him in his double jumps with upairs to rest ^^.

As for the Marth, fthrow to wavedash F-smash didn't happen (unless it was in one of the vids i didn't watch, this catches alot of jiggs trying to DI away from the fthrow chain and often is a tipper). And he was way to aggressive. You used that to your advantage well.

The only thing I would recommend to you personally is to try to catch them in their double jumps more. There were alot of times where you tried to follow up a throw with a aerial and they double jumped away. You should be looking for this and just try to predict how they will be double jumping just chase and then aerial.

thanks and the marth player was off of his game he usually does throw and fsmash but with jigz you can DI diagonaly up and away and jump away from forward smash.

I aways thought SD meant you killed yourself but i was proabally wrong.

Ill tell the ganon player about retreating fairs.

SD is when you kill yourself, my mistake. I misinterpreted when you said how to you self destruct with jiggs? Other than accidentally suiciding, if allow Jiggs shield to break Jigg flies off the stage and kills himself.

As for the Marth thing, your right Jiggs can DI diagonally up and away and avoid the fthrow fsmash, which is why he should have occasionally fthrow -> wavedash -> fsmash. In the Ken vs King matchup Ken did this a few times. It makes the Jigg player weary of DI'ing up and away.

Just a little update as well i won another tourney in farmington and this time there were 50 people there so i now one two tourneys and i also took off 7 stock in crew battle we also one that too.

Wow, Round two vs. Gannon was such an amazing match. What a comback for you. I hate people who underestimate characters such as Jigglypuff. Well, you showed them and good luck on future tournaments.
