Wolf's dash attack?

Is the dash attack any good? It's cool because it's a backflip and everything, and it knocks them into the air if I remember correctly. But the range seems really bad, it seems like you have to be standing right next to them for it to hit. Is it useful?

To answer your question his dash attack isn't good. It can be shield grabbed really easy. His up smash is better if you need a replacement for the dash attack.

It actually as good range (just if you hit them with the tip of his feet, it sends them horizontally. it's sort of like Falcon's uair in melee), but it's just too easy to shield grab. You're better just c-sticking the usmash out of a dash.

it has awful lag at the end so 1) if you don't connect, you'll get punished, and 2) if you do hit, you won't be able to follow it up in their hitstun... generally just stay away

His dash attack is probably one of his worst moves, but if you connect you can actually land an Fair. it's unlikely though.
