Winterfox Signs Shroomed!

It is not surprising going into Evo 2015, one of the biggest tournaments around, that some teams are diving into the world of fighting games and sponsoring players. Announced earlier today, DaJuan "Shroomed" McDaniel has been signed by Winterfox! This is their second signing of a fighting game player within the last few days having also signed Street Fighter player Gustavo “801 Strider” Romero. With his recent defeat of Mang0 at CEO as well as his consistently strong performances, Shroomed is sure to be an excellent addition to the team and a great way for Winterfox to get into the world of fighters and Smash.

If I'm not mistaken, he bet 10 bucks that Axe would be with some sponsor just a few weeks ago, and it happened with said sponsor.

He either knows before hand, is really lucky, or is really good at reading sponsors and people availability / compatibility and detective work, which would make sense given that he's a member of that market. I prefer the third explanation myself :D

They were founded this year, in January. Evil Geniuses had to rebrand due to Riot putting in place some weird rules for the LCS.
