Hello. I'm Jedi8246. Although Brawl is nearly 4 years old now (How time flies...) the online community still seems in full bloom. That said, playing with random people can be annoying, especially when you run into the groups of trolls who randomly team up against you.

In any case, I am hosting my first ever Brawl Winter Cup. The only prize is the glory of victory, but we'll see what happens. Now for the rules:

We shall be using standard rules
-3 Stock
-8 Minute Timer
-Items set to "off" and "none"
-Sets are best of 3 matches. Losers Finals, Winners Finals, and Grand Finals are best of 5 matches.
-Stalling of any kind is banned. MK's infinite cape glitch is banned.

Stages Available
Battlefield
Final Destination
Smashville
Yoshi's Island
Castle Siege
Halberd
Lylat Cruise
Pokémon Stadium 1

It shall be a sixteen man tournament. As I am participating, that leaves 15 spots. Sign up fast. You are free to negotiate times that you play each other once the brackets are made. It shall be single elimination. Report the results of your match to me when you can. If a dispute arises, be prepared to have evidence of your victory.

Best of luck and may the best player win!!

If I may make a recommendation, there ought to be a tad more detail in your main post. For example,

How is the set decided? Is it a Bo3, Bo5, Bo1, etc.?
Will there be a stage striking system in place to decide the stage to play on?
Should the set require more than one game, will a counterpick be used to decide the next game?
Will, and if so, how many, bans will be allowed?
Is the competition itself a "semi-live" or progressive tournament? (I assume from your description that it is the latter)

And as one last tip, try to be a bit rigid in your scheduling of when matches are to be played. I speak from experience when I say that nobody will get the games done if specific times are not given.
