Wings of Icarus Cancels Mortar Slide

This has probably been seen before, but I wanted to know if anyone has an explanation for this. Also, if it could happen on the ground without the ledge even if it requires godly timing.

All you did was push him off the stage, and he buffered a neutral air out of it.

It probably pushed him left instead of right due to how much momentum he had, was probably a little off the stage. (Also the left side of Battlefield is uneven)

Can't happen without the ledge, what canceled it was you pushed him off stage using the windbox of WoI and he buffered a neutral air.
