Windows Movie Maker problem

So my WMM crashes everytime I try to import a video into my collections. i tried converting it to a different format too so I have no idea what's causing this...help on fixing this problem or recommending an alternative downloadable program?

This happens to me all the time as well. I can import a clip/movie quite fine but WMM only seems to crash when my cursor scrolls over the clip/movie. lol =/

yea WMM blows, but it's easy to use...and it's free...

Find a codec named divxaf.ax and rename. Tell me if that solves your problems.

ya wmm is realy bad it crashes for everyone for almost anything XD it depends on where you got the video usualy. i find that if i get videos from certain places they wont work on wmm, so mayb dl it somewhere else. or get a better movie editing program, ( almost anythings better then wmm )

never happened to me :\. i don't import though i drag and it works.

it all depends but for the most part WMM has major problems for nearly anyone that uses it.

use vDub
its free
and it PWNS WMM
so use it!
