I was over nyah, but now I'm over hnah.
Well, most of us have heard of the new Zelda game planned for the Wii, scheduled for October 2010. But, still, rumors of this game are quite puzzling and even slightly disturbing. We've all seen that in what is to be the boxart, Link weilds no sword.. however, a figure resembling the Master Sword is also in the image. I'm sure they'll cover the swordplay somehow.
But there was something particularly interesting that Miyamoto and the Zelda team released: This game will not follow the order of Go to Dungeon, Get Item, Fight Boss, repeat. I was really shocked by this, and I'm sure we're all asking the same question: What will become of Zelda without this cycle, and how long will it last? The first part, I have no idea; however, for the second one, I see it this way. If it's a one-time thing for the series, it will be great. More fans will be attracted to it, and all the following games will have more people to utterly fall in love with them. However, if it is constant, it will be disastrous. Many vetaran fans will be turned off to the series, and eventually grow tired of our beloved older games.
What do you all think of this? Discuss.
