I ask this because between Melee and this game, my playstyle is the complete opposite. In Melee I main Marth, and my play style is almost strictly in the air. In the 3DS version I use Little Mac, and am almost 100% grounded for the whole match. It's just the way the 3DS feels. It's a lot easier for me to destroy opponents just bull-rushing them with Little Mac on the ground. Once I get that Gamecube controller in my hands again, I may have to switch to a more aerial-based character.

Probably not. I once was good with Ike and Snake, but after leaving the game for a while, Yoshi of all people took Ike's place and Fox once again became my crutch character. After leaving again, I ended up using Sheik, Zero Suit Samus, and Wolf more compared to Falco, Snake, Ike, and Yoshi. Luigi, however, still remains one of my fun and mess around character while Sonic joined since Brawl.

Well. I'm Bowser in both PM and Sm4sh. Will stay Bowser for the Wii U version. Melee main is Marth. :o

Certainly. I'm dedicating a lot of time to my current mains, and I hope to be a lot better by the time the Wii U version releases.

For me, definitely. I choose certain characters to main solely because I like them inherently as a character, not their playstyle. Although it can mean adapting to pretty different playstyles, but I don't mind it.

Definitely. The Gamecube controller will boost Greninja's game immensely. It's a bit difficult to hydropump gimp using the circle pad and that's an integral part of Greninja's play.

I feel like certain characters might be better/more fun on a bigger, HD screen, like Robin. I'll most likely keep my mains the same though.

I saw this before and honest to god considered doing it. It's pretty unfair though so I suppose I'll just wait until the Wii U version drops. Tempting though.

There's also that arcade stick grip for the 3DS. Go pro, bro.

Anyway, I never really stuck to one or a set of characters, but that's probably because I never decided to go competitive, so I could mess around as much as I wanted.

Lying about my country.
I honestly don't even see why I wouldn't, both versions have the exact same mechanics, controls won't make that much difference once you're used to both.

I feel like Greninja will be even better when I can use a Gamecube controller, so definitely yes.

i outta check out that arcade grip. My biggest gripe is my hands are too big for this thing, and i have an XL lol. More specifically, it needs to be thicker, width is fine.

On topic, i doubt my characters will change. I played Fox when i was being serious in SSB64 and Melee, but in Brawl oddly enough i hated him and for some reason started dominating with Wario 10x more than i ever did with Fox. He changed heavily in 3DS though, so im having to relearn the fatso...

Well, there's these normal grips. I think someone even gutted an old controller and modded it to fit the 3DS.

As you can see in my sig, I intended to primarily play as Mega Man on 3DS and Rosalina on Wii U, but Rosalina just feels even better than I could have imagined, that I've ended up using her the most on 3DS, by far, and I win so many matches with her. I've also been using Sonic more than I have Mega Man. Mega Man is my third most used character, though, I still play him a lot. I think it's partly because I've used him so much in the demo.

I will remain the same once the Wii U version drops. I am still learning the game and I don't see why the sudden change since its on console.
