Will we see the same "Cloning" of characters scenerio again?

You know how in SSBM, when you unlock all the chars, how there is, Mario/Doc Mario- Falco/Fox- Pikachu/Pichu- Marth/Roy- Gannondoft/Capt.Falcon etc. Do you think Brawl will repeat, and have just moderations of original characters, or do you think that there will be an all different cast, with all different move set?

I'm pretty sure that there is already a thread like this, sorry.

Anyhow... No, I don't expect to see any clones (maybe a few Luigi-fied characters). There isn't any real reason to leave those characters as just clones when they can have a great moveset all their own.
