whoa there, the speculation thread is already up, go there. As for will there be more characters, the clone engine dug up 5 more spots on the roster, it would be a waste not to fill at least some of them. Don't expect anything for a while though, the metagame is wet cement right now.

I already started talking about this in the speculation thread, but is a Bowser Jr./Shadow Mario clone like Zelda/Sheik out of the question?

Did Roy or Mewtwo have all those things? (I have no idea how this stuff works.)
I think Roy was made by taking Marth's model as a base and modifying it. But I believe Mewtwo was made from scratch and took several years.
But that's just me half-remembering stuff I read on this board at some point.
The assist trophies in the game are basically useless for making new characters. They don't have the internal complexity to make a model off of. They're very simplistic. Actual characters have to have a ton of bones and stuff.

Hopefully they add Pichu and Young Link then I would be happy. As for the other 3 spots I prefer they convert the 3 most popular newcomers in Smash 4 (That also appear as trophies, stickers, bosses, or assist trophies in PM.) Such as Villager for example. If not I vote they just stop at Pichu and Young Link because I just don't like the idea of PM original characters.
