Will there be another event like "smashfest" before the game is released?

Title says it all.
I've been dying to try out more of the Smash game but its always being held at events that I can't go to like E3 or SDCC. I was able to try out 1 match during smashfest at best buy after waiting 4 hours but I couldn't play anymore then that, which felt like such a tease.
So does anyone know if nintendo is planning anymore smash related events before the game is released?
(Also I'm new to this forum so sorry if this was posted in the wrong section.)

I somehow doubt it. It's likely they'll have demos or something at Gamescom, but as for a Smashfest event, if we don't get one in early September, I think we'll just have to wait for release.

We're not far off, anyway.

Odds are, we're going to have to wait for the actual release to even be able to play the 3DS version. Downloadable demos are obviously not going to happen.

GameCrazy had Brawl going before it was officially for sale at midnight. That was quite the night.

I expect that to be the only thing similar. For the Wii U at least.

Most likely not. Honestly, the only event I can think of they can do that would be at Pax Prime (and yes, I'm only naming this because this is an event I actually CAN get to), but I highly doubt it.

I don't think so to be honest. Well at least for 3ds version. The Wii U version maybe.

Probably not, but who knows? I can't imagine any events as big as E3 or SDCC coming up before release but maybe they(nintendo) will sneak in some show at a lesser known event.
