Will the new Gamecube Controller adapter coming out this holiday be compatible with Project M?

Hey guys. I'm asking this because I never got the chance to own a Wii, so I have to play Project M on the Wii U (It is possible). The problem is, I don't want to spend money on buying those Mayflash Nintendo GameCube adapters, so it would be helpful to know if the new adapter coming out will be compatible or not with PM. I know that no one really knows anything about this adapter, so more or less the question is if PM will have support for Wii U players, and this new adapter?

It should, if you've already got Project M working on your Wii U, U should be fine.
