Will SSBB have online play?

Obviously, I haven't read many threads, but I haven't encountered a thread that has important subject... Will there be online play?

Also, I would like to challenge any one in Houston in a Melee match and I will use the best character (Captain Falcon)

It's not of yet confirmed; however I think it is very likely Brawl will have online play.

Actually I don't think it will have online play.

If it does, friggen awesome.

But as I read somewhere online and brawl were never mentioned together in some interview with someone some place somewhere when they were talking about games with online access. So if they didn't mention it then, because its brawl isnt online, then I dont think its gonna be online now since they've given the release date.

I dont understand, EGM a professional gaming magazing confirmed it very plainly and with no beating around the bush.
