Event - E3 Invitational 2014 Will Smash Wii-U get delayed?

The 3ds game got delayed to october rather than the summer and no release date was announced for the wii u game. They only said holiday. I dont want a delay to happen, but back in the day brawl got delayed to march of the next year.

I hate the idea of it getting delayed, but if they have to delay it to make it better I have no problem waiting. Witht he 3ds game getting delayed will the wii u game be delayed to early 2015?

Brawl was delayed for Sonic, which was worthy of them doing so. If they're delaying Wii U because the 3DS is still being fine tuned I'll cry but understand them wanting to keep both games separate.

It's pretty much the same time frame as they announced back in April, so I doubt it.

I don't think so. Nintendo said Winter during the Smash Direct and changed it to Holiday during E3. A Holiday release date is more definite than Winter.

I still smell a posible delay to early 2015. Brawl got a March release after all.

To be fair, Japan's release period for Smash 3DS is late Summer, so Smash 3DS being released during Summer 2014 was partially true.

As Sakurai said, depends on the debugging process and the speed of that. I can see it being late but i bet the executives of nintendo are putting him under the pump so that their christmas sales are good. Everyone wants a christmas bonus
