Smash 3DS Will Smash 3DS Online Tournaments be like Mario Golf: World Tour?

I'm REALLY hoping that Nintendo takes a page out of the Online book, and makes the Online mode complete with tournaments, contests, and the general, all-around depth that Mario Golf made. That mode is, far and away, the most robust and complete experience thus far on the 3DS. I wasn't even ABLE to try all the different options yet, and it was a day one purchase, meaning it's been 12 days, as of writing this post!
Any ideas or comments on making this Online mode the BEST EVER are welcome.
And in case you need an explanation regarding my poll choices, I'll be more than happy to give them.

Customizable Tournaments. I really love this feature, especially with friends.

Or, you know, with randoms can be fun too, but I'm not entirely sure that will happen.

Speaking of Online, I would love it if we could save replays and post on YouTube. Hello Mario Kart 8.

Customize-able it's the only one that really work well in my eyes
