Smash Wii U Will most Wii U tournaments have GameCube adaptors?

I really like playing Smash 4 so far, but I missed out on the GameCube adaptor. I'm thinking about playing in tournaments eventually and I wonder what controller would I should use to get ready for tournaments. The GameCube controller has the advantage of being wired, but I don't know if there will be enough adaptors for most tournaments to have them. If I were to enter a Wii U tournament, should I be expect to use the Classic Controller, Pro Controller, or the GameCube Controller?

Thanks, it was just something I was a little curious about. It's interesting how the Wii U seems to have more controller types than any other console.
