Will Miis have Alternate color palettes?

It'd probably be replaced with cycling though all your different Miis.

In the Digital Event, Sakurai said "Brawlers, Swordfighters and Gunners. Each type is treated as it's own seperate character.", so maybe they're 3 slots?

All the different Miis you own are kinda already palette swaps by choosing your Mii's favorite color in Mii Maker. At least in the 3DS version it won't matter anymore for Team battles because your character's cel-shaded border will be changed to your team color. And from what I hear the Wii U might do something similar but the team colors are represented by "auras"

I think the Mii's slot is going to be treated like the character creation slot in the recent Soul Calibur games but in this case you'd click a Mii icon on the character select screen and cycle through the different Miis you made.
