Will Luigi be nerfed?

wavedashing is the reason luigi is great in melee. without it does will he stand a chance? do you think he will be given something (new move, stronger moves, etc) because of this?

1. This should be in the character forum, if anywhere. I would post it in a general Luigi thread.

2. My guess is that he will be significantly changed, but not nerfed. Luigi was not, in fact, great in melee.

Of course he won't. Look at mario, he is alot better than he was in melee now, and its safe to say that those two worked similar (minus the wavedash.)

Considering his down special was changed, who's to say he won't be using his Luigis mansion gear (as opposed to mario using his sunshine gear.)

Im hoping that his final smash is a slight variation of marios, but who knows.
