Hi, I'm new here, and I'm a 20 (almost 21) year old Pokemon and Kirby fan, as well as Super Smash Bros player. I've played Melee since 2004, and after that, Brawl and Smash 3DS. Since last Saturday, I also have the Wii U version.
My main is Kirby, with secondary characters being Greninja, Ivysaur, Yoshi and Meta Knight. My controller of choice is the GameCube controller, on any version (aside from 3DS). Favourite stages include Fountain of Dreams, Great Bay, Halberd, Spear Pillar, Bridge of Eldin and Dream Land 64.
I'm not a competitive player. I'm a casual player who can beat lv.9 CPU's with ease with Kirby (but with most other characters, I suck), and I often do well in the online "For Fun" mode. I lost mostly in the 3DS's "For Glory" mode in the few times I tried. I'd like to learn some competitive combos to become a better player against human opponents, and see how far I can improve.
However, today, in my first "For Glory" match on the Wii U, with my trusty GameCube controller, I won that first match! It was against someone playing as Luigi. He wasn't the best Smasher ever, but also not the worst. Needless to say, I saved the battle video and might post it on YouTube if I find a way to save it on an SD card or USB stick.
I live in the Netherlands, am a journalism student, have Aspergers and aside from Smash, I mostly play Pokemon games, and some Kirby ones.
