WiiConnect24 for adding more characters and stages?

This has probably been said here before, but wouldn't it be pretty sweet if Nintendo finally made good use of WiiConnect24 by adding new stuff to Smash Bros Brawl?

Of course, then a problem comes into the fact that a lot of the characters they considered adding are gonna be Assist Trophies and bosses, so if they put them as one of those 2 at launch, theres no adding them later on.

Doesn't seem very likely, but it'd be a cool feature.

It's a little known fact that the Wii can burn extra data onto game discs.

You know, even if you could actually do this, I would still be 100% against it.

No. Its not possible.

Even if it was, nintendo would not do it, because its not fair to those who havent got wifi. online play is one thing, but whole new characters are another.
