I am having a terrible day with Brawl. Yesterday, I just got my triwing screwdriver and cleaned the laser which enabled me to play Brawl for the first time in months. I loaded up the old hacking codes and went wild. My brother nearly pulled an all nighter playing it. Today, I asked my brother to get the sd card to get more textures and goodies, and he pulled the card out while the game was still going. Suddenly, whenever I boot the game, with and without codes, I get an "error has occurred" message. Sometimes the would not be read at all as if the lens was still dirty. So, I cleaned the lens again, got the game cleaned by Blockbuster, and cleaned the lens AGAIN with no improvement. I am at a dead end pulling out my hair.
Is this problem still a hardware problem or did the wii software get messed up when the sd card suddenly got pulled?
