All right! so, you guys made me super curious about Wii U Mewtwo in my Wii U Marth progress tread so I decided to go and take a look at how he could fit on project M Mewtwo.

I made a first rigging test and I'm actually quite surprised at how well he worked out despite the fact that he has a quite larger lower body that PM Mewtwo.

Anyway, here take a look! I made a super quick comparison album with PM Mewtwo and Wii U Mewtwo in different poses to test the rigging

Keep in mind this is a super early test. There is no polish at all and I didn't even bother with his arms because I knew I could do them without any problems so yeah they look weird right now but, anyway, this mean I'll be adding Wii U Mewtwo in my coming soon list!

Cool stuff! Could we get a front-facing view (like how he would ordinarily be facing in-game) when you update the rig a little? It honestly looks pretty great already.

I'll make a full image gallery like all my other mods when I'll be done also!

Another question: if you get this to work to a point that you're satisfied, could you make an armored alt as well? That's the only thing I'd miss from the other models.

It would be possible yes! I maybe won't do it when I first release it and make it in an update later. we'll see.

Simply because I've already got a custom model in progress right now that's coming as a project M/brawl mod that's going to be a little surprise!

maybe I could take the PM's armor and modify it to put it on Wii U Mewtwo. that could work as well and should be much quicker.

It's really all about finding the time to do all this.

Yeah, I was thinking the best way would be to just alter the PM armor for the Wii U model. Curious to see the other thing you're working on.

Also, I saw that you have a thread devoted to each of your works. Why not make a thread that includes all of them, and anything else you release?

I won't show you the model just yet but here :

i'm doing this guy here which, of course, will get release with his regular Wii U model.

The regular model is actually almost done, over Samus. I won't release it before the custom is done thought.

making a devoted thread is a good idea. i'll make one when I have new stuff to show for my next mod!

I'm really excited for this! Something I've noticed is that Mewtwo's rig in PM causes certain Mewtwo models to have gigantic-looking thighs, I was wondering if you planned on circumventing this, or if you were straight up just going to keep the Wii U model as true to the original as you could.

Well, the Wii U model actually already has giant looking thighs

I'll make sure they deform properly (meaning that they don't gain or lose volume too much when they move like all properly done rigs)

I did modify a tiny bit the wii U model in my first test to make them just a bit smaller to fit better the PM bones but I think they will stay similar to my exemple in the first post because the deformation, to my surprise, was already looking pretty good.

I'll see if I like it this way but maybe i'll make them a bit more thin again just to remove the feeling that he has very small legs (because of how large the thighs are and how the animation are made (which I won't change) to fit better the skinny model.

I want it to be the wii U model and not a custom model so if I do make some changes, they will be pretty minor (like thigh volume maybe but not remodel them etc).
