Wii U GC Adapter on Mac Help

Hi all. I've been trying to get Dolphin to detect my adapter on my Mac for about an hour now and nothing seems to work. I've followed all the steps here https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index....Adapter_for_Wii_U_in_Dolphin#Terminal_Install, downloaded the SmashEnabler and run it, and still haven't had any luck. I keep seeing a "Direct Connect" option in the controller settings mentioned but I can't find it at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Fixed it. Downloaded a different version of Dolphin and payed attention to which USB cables I was plugging/unplugging. I am not a smart man.
