Smash Wii U Wii remote button layout customisation does not work !

Just bought a Wii u and pro controller and a Wii remote.

The problem i got is this

I want to play Super smash with a Wii remote because i dont like to move around with the joysticks.

So i go in to options to edit the button`s on my Wii Remote so i can jump with 2 and make B my special attack etc.

Works perfectly when i test the button layout inside the options menu but when i start to play the buttons are set back to default,

I set my jump button to be on 2 ( wii remote ), then i save and quit options then start a game. And when i click 2 the character does a special attack and no jumping. So it resets back to default when i start a game and its annoying as hell because i hate using joysticks for movement =(

You have to be using the name that you've set for your custom controls. On the character select screen, you are able to choose a name to use on your player box.

The screenshot below displays the name that I use for my custom controls. To change the name, there's an icon below the name that you must select.
