Wifi Warriors: PM Singles! (3/21/14 @6:00 PM EST)

On this upcoming friday, the Smashboards PM regulars will be hosting a double elimination singles tournament.

Rules can be found at: http://www.apex-series.com/rules/projectm/

Prizes:

  • my entire tf2 backpack (message me)
  • the title "Wifi Warriors King of the Ring (singles)", to be part of your signature until the next Wifi Warriors tournaments
  • extreme bragging rights
  • this Yoshi

that's actually a pretty great reward if I do say so myself. Pwny, don't even organize rewards for these tournies if you ever planned to, the winner of each singles tournament gets to use that profile picture for the week.

okayyyyyy so how are we going to decide what stage we want to go to? we can't play RPS to decide so should we pick a starting stage that everyone is okay with?

I'm confident that people can agree on a starter stage. If need be, I'll settle any disputes that come up

Yes, the entire thing will be done using Brawl's wifi system. We will all exchange friend codes as the tournament goes on

Ok cool. I would like to throw my horse in the race as I haven't competed in a Smash tornament of any kind yet. I need that experience for Apex next year lol. Will everyone be in a Skype call or something to determine what stages get picked and what not?
