wifi sync problem?

me and my friend are trying to use the zero meveset for link online,i use it but he doesn,t however every time we play it ALWAYS goes out of sync. he either starts attacking air but apprantly on his side hes hitting me,or i get the smash ball when he apparantly did and it just loses sync. we have the same thing in the link folder,and i have the texture code and like 2 replay codes(so you can see the tags and can save ones over 4 minutes), i also have the unrestricted pause and replay camera code. but thats all.it also happens to screw up with MR.L in the EXACT same way. What could we be doing wrong?

if he doesn't have zero, then he does not see zero he sees link, and link plays like link, while you are seeing him play zero..

In short, he's not seeing what you're seeing, so his controls are making no sense. He needs to get Zero too.

he has it too,along with everything else i have...

If you have Zero as an Alternate Character (using the Clone Engine) then he has to LOAD Zero in order to play, otherwise he will see Link
Edit : I'm not sure if you can actually load him like in off-line games (My friend loads Zero for me whenever I want to use it)

My connection is crap, i can only play people with red, orange, and yellow connections...
