WI-Fi Safe Set Online Feature Not working

I just got a wii and downloaded both project M Full and Wifi Safe set on two different 2gb micro sd cards, which plug into a reader. The both play perfectly fine on my wii. However, the wifi set online feature is not working. It keeps telling me"

"unable to connect to internet. Confirm the internet settings of the wii console" with error 20100

Now, I know that the wifi on the wii is working because I was able to connect to WFC through brawl to set the smash service to decline. Is there anything else I have to do in order to play online?

Reconfigure your internet settings in the Wii system settings menu and try again. It also might have something to do with your modem or router, try restarting both of those and see what happens.
