Wi-fi Button Activators, please help!

Ugggh before I start ranting, I will say I searched and found a thread with exactly what I was looking for from a year ago WITH NO REPLIES. This has been bothering me for days, and I can't simply make codes myself. Note - this is a region-free or Universal code.

So basically, I like to mess around on Basic Brawl. I want to actually be able to use Bully's Universal Non-host Character Modifier correctly! I have been Giga Bowser and Warioman and had tons of fun. Then I find this one guy who turns into Warioman after I trolled him on one match, then he turns back into Snake the next match, so I started using the character modifier code again. I try using the ON/OFF version of it, but I CANNOT play with the wiimote. Besides, the code requires wiimote button mastercode or something. I'm not playing with the wiimote, so I decided to fool around with the code and make GC button activators. Here's the code I was using (my version of on/off that actually turns on, but doesn't turn off)

I had a conversation with Bully and we finally reached a conclusion and he said that should work.

I've tried everything now. I'm lost. Searched and searched to no avail. I can't find anyway (not to mention a GC button activator mastercode to supposedly make this work) to make this work.

I've tried placing the GC button activators where they were in the original code (it works but the button activators do nothing, it's automatically on)

I made the second button address +1 like instructed (284DE4B1)

I've tried separating the code into two parts (one on, one off, basically just this code separated into two parts after the first E0000000 80008000 ) But I haven't tested that yet.

Also, I'm using a WIRED GC CONTROLLER IN SLOT 1, but the wired button activators don't work for me. (I've followed cool's gc button activator guide on here, holding down the button doesn't work) In fact, the only button activator that works for me is Wavebird L button (0040) Awhile ago, I used wifi music modifier for abit, and used the button activators for d-pad that you HOLD down (0081, 0082, 0084, 0088) and those worked half the time when I held them down before the other players said "Brawling" but they don't work anymore, and they disconnect me xD I've been host before too! )

So basically, what am I doing wrong? I need serious help. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeease someone can point me in the right direction?

If anyone can help me, I also have some more questions.

I recently put in the basic brawl multiplayer code, and I wanted to play with my sister. She was going to be giga bowser while I be warioman, but I ran into another problem. Can anyone show me the code for that Non Host Character Modifier for player 2, 3 and 4? I can't figure it out.

Also if anyone knows how to work those wired gc button activators (like when to hold them down to make them work, is it while I select the character, or when we're in the practice stage?)

I'd like to thank everyone for helping me. Literally.

I figured out the ON/OFF part of my problem, the 2 separate codes are working grand. Now I just need help with getting the Non-host modifier for players 2, 3, and 4. I'm asking the 40 stalkers TO HELP ME PLEASE. Can't be too hard xD

Thank you everyone, i solved this months ago. Works fine, and someone recently gave me the non-host codes for players 2, 3 and 4. It's great fun!
