Wi-Fi and My Music

Is it possible that these two work can work together? Like, say, if I could have a different music track playing from my game and the other player is playing a different piece in theirs in the same match.

yeah they can. You can play whatever music you want on gears of war (and almost any 360 game) but only your TV will be playing it. Same with this. That or there is one specific tune designed to match the level more than others.

Yeah, thanks. Now hopefully Sakurai will do the right thing and make My Music compatible with Wi-Fi.

i'm thinking he might do just that. or maybe he'll get the average of all the my musics in the match and then choose from that. i'd prefer the gears of war type better though.

The music is coming from your particular Wii, its not being streamed through the match.....learn how the internet works.

^Slightly off-topic, but do you think there will be unlocks in Online Friend Play? Say, for instance, a CD is grabbed and nets all players present the song, or one of the players reaches a certain number of VS. Matches (assuming Online is counted under the same directory) and goes through an unlock battle for all 4 people to unlock the character.

If it is not separate for each Wii, I bet Sakurai will set default music chances for each stage and those chances would be applied to the online fights.

I think it's likely. Who wants to listen to other people's preferred tracks? Not me, that's who doesn't.
