Why won't it start?

Ok, so I get the flipping download, it gets in a zipped folder, and I'm supposed to "unzip" it. so I extract all the files yada yada yada its unzipped and I put it on the SD card WHICH I DELETED ALL OF MY 3DS SAVE FILES ON to play it. I put it in the wii WHICH I DELETED ALL THE CUSTOM STAGES ON and what do ya know. IT STILL WON'T FREAKING WORK. I'M ANGRY RIGHT NOW, I SHOULD JUST BE ABLE TO FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS AND PLAY THE DANG GAME, WHAT IS THIS BULLCRAP?

The problem is the game won't start no matter what I try doing. I followed everything that I could possibly follow in the download page on the official website.

We would like to know how far you get when trying to start it. Do you get to the Stage Builder? Do you get PAST the Stage Builder? Is it crashing? If so, WHEN does it crash? These are the things we need to know to help you. There are actually a lot of different places where it can fail, so we need to know when you're having the trouble.
