The number of freeze frames is incredibly low. Things have that oomph to them, but it doesn't take freeze frames to convey that oomph - the air slashes and things help get that across (though I'd really love rumble, guess there'll be a later version for that). That lets the game flow so much more nicely, without actually having to physically move faster (though it IS distinctly faster than Brawl).
