k this thread is why sonic never gonna be in brawl
sonic,knuckles,tails,amy,ect... is'nt from nintendo.. it is from sega!!
nintendo never use sega char why it gonna hapens now?
ya i now there are many sonic fans...but he is never coming 2 brawl

king dede,didi kong,pokemon,ect are all productsof nintendo ...they make an chance...

Loads of people will reply to this, i expect, but there is a possibility of Sonic being in Brawl. He is a third party character who has appeared on a Nintendo console, therefore making him eligible.

In short Sonic is a 3rd Party character (meaning characters that Nintendo didn't create) like Snake who is in Brawl. There will be a few more 3rd party characters so Sonic could be in SSBB.

This is an intelligent hypothesis of why I think Sonic isn't in Brawl.
Mario and Sonic At The Olympic Games is being advertised as the FIRST, I repeat, FIRST game to feature the two heroes together. Now think, Brawl is DEFINATELY coming out before M&S@TheOlympics, so if Sonic were in Brawl, M&S@TheOlympics WOULDN'T be the first game to have both characters.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't M&S@TheOlympics release date November 2007? Brawl's release date is December 3rd, 2007, as much as a month away. M&S could be the FIRST game to feature the two together, but Brawl could be the SECOND.

But Sonic is the most deserving of all the 3rd parties. Snake got in because Hideo asked them to so Snake was easier.. We'll have to find out of Sega would want their mascot to get whooped by all the Nintendo's and Konami (Snake) characters.

Sonic has a very good chance of being in Brawl. Eversince the original, people have wanted him in. There was even an April Fool's joke going around, saying you could play as Sonic and Tails if you KO 20 Wire-Frames in Cruel Melee. I've been hearing that Nintendo even contacted Sega but they're still awaiting a final decision last time I heard. He'll probably be in, but if not, I hope no one raises a gigantic fit and say they won't like Brawl just because a certain character's not in it.

And seriously, no offense but you need to learn some good grammar. I could hardly even read most of your post.

Okay... GUY, do you know about Mario & Sonic Olympics at ALL?! Not to mention that Solid Snake is not part of Nintendo at ALL. Seeing as how Sonic and Mario will be in a game that will be out BEFORE Brawl, I would say Sonic's chances are PRETTY good. Not to mention a LOT more people know Sonic more than they know Snake, and thus would not just want to announce such a hyped up character right away.
