Well, if your a new player, It can help you with practicing things like l-canceling, wavedashing, and teching with things like save states, like how I started. For more intermediate players, like me right now, you can use it to do things like shield pressuring, character combos, and other advanced techs that would see in tournaments, like waveshines. For top players, it can be sued as an advance version of melee with tournament settings on boot, new alternate costumes, more stages, frozen stages (e.g, no wind non dreamland, no shyguys on yoshi story, no tranformations on poke stadium), and there's more to be added!

So tl;dr, it's regualar Melee but better.

Do you have an issue where it DIs and techs the same way in a row repeatedly?

It's better than juggling level 9 Bowser around for hours at a time and calling it "practice."

It's also more useful than asking your friends how to get past whatever they just did and them responding with "I'm not telling you, because you'll beat me."

It's truly the future.

3.02 has a much higher probability for a few options, but you can set percent chances for each DI and tech option in the newest beta version (4.0). The P2 commands are currently broken in that version though, so you have to switch back and forth for other types of practice.

20XX can help you with tech chases, learn match ups better (because the CPUs are better but still dumb). They can help you with power shielding because of CPU move spam, learn DI with the save state function, learn hit boxes by pressing Y+D-pad right, and a bunch of other stuff. In other words, you want it. Clear your SD card of sonic adventure 2 and replace it with 20XX.
