Why is there the 3DS "new"?

I know that everyone flips when a new Nintendo product comes out. Yes, I do love Nintendo, but the 3DS new was a total waste of time and money. Would I get it in exchange of my 2DS? Of course! But now I can't play the 3DS new games. Xenoblade, Fire Emblem Fates, Legend of Zelda Triforce Hero's, and even Dragon Ball Z Heroes Ultimate mission with my 2DS. I mean whats the point? Because probably ssb5 is going to come out on it (probably). Remember, this is just a matter of opinion, and i'm just saying that it's not fair that I can't play new 3DS games and that my 2DS isn't made out of steel like the new 3DS.

The differences between New 3DS and 2DS is processing power, C stick, and stable 3D. You can play most of the 3DS games on the 2DS while the only New 3DS game is only Xenoblade Chronicles 3D. And the New 3DS loads Smash 3DS faster and you can post to Miiverse while playing Smash as well. So I don't really think buying a New 3DS is a waste of money. And yeah, the "New" title on the more powerful 3DS is a bit irritating...

Yeah it felt like a waste, it feels that's what the regular 3DS should have been like from the start. Smash 3DS could have also favored from this a lot and probably some other early 3DS games as well. Overall i guess it's good that Nintendo decided to make an updated version of the 3DS eventually.
I feel that Smash 5 would come out on the NX, especially if the rumors about it being a hybrid between a handheld and a console are true.

Why not? You can play any 3DS games on your 2DS. So the only New 3DS exclusive is Xenoblade Chronicles 3D.

P.S. how can you have mario main all the games?
I'm not sure what do you mean by this, are you asking me why do I main so many characters in Smash4 while my profile shows I main Mario in every Smash games? Well, because I like to use Mario the most, but in Smash4 where I play competitively I will choose other characters.
P.S> I actually use Fox when I play Smash for the first time on Melee.

No, they're pretty much not going to support the new 3DS by adding exclusive titles for it. Expect Xenoblade to be the only one.

They're going to make a new system instead that'll be a separate generation. New 3DS was just an odd stopgap.

Not really... there will might be only two more if we are lucky. And it has to be a game that needs that much space and power like Xenoblade.

I ask a user to help me make it.

I think that Xenoblade was a test drive to see if New 3DS exclusive games have any viability. It seems to me that it didn't work out. I'm sure that instead Nintendo is going to focus on games that are playable on all 3DS systems with bonuses on New 3DS.

Yeah, if anything there'll just be a couple more games like MH4U that get an increase in texture quality and framerate. I can't see them putting out another New 3DS exclusive.

I doubt Nintendo would want to create (or publish) more exclusive games for the New 3DS. You've already got Xenoblade, and I'm expecting that to be the only title to be released for the upgraded hardware. More exclusive games would fragment the install base, and I'm sure they don't want that to happen. If anything, New 3DS-exclusive content and features for games released on all systems should do for the time being, such as framerate and texture increases as radio silent radio silent pointed above.
