why is project m the only fan smash game with a competitive seance

Lets be honest its not secret that games like crusade and the flash series have nobody taking it serious their is no rules no forms nothing only pm have tourneys like were are the ssf2 tourneys and crusade tourneys I'm not complaining I'm just wonder what people think

...That's a good question, really. I'm afraid I can't really answer it either. However, if I were to try to answer it, then I would suppose that Smash fangames like SSF2 and Crusade are more for fun than competitive. If my memory serves me right, Super Smash Flash 2 is still in Demo mode, so I don't think a work-in-progress game would be a very good choice for a competitive scene as well as Project M. I'm not sure about Crusade though. I have no experience and/or knowledge in it whatsoever.

It might be mostly based in copyright, since Project M doesn't borrow from franchises and companies that Nintendo hasn't borrowed from. I know nothing on the topic so take my word lightly.

Does no one else find the term "competitive seance" hilarious?

How would that work?

Is it the first to make contact with the dead via Super Smash Bros (AKA the medium). I wasn't even aware Project M had this feature. Was this in the latest firmware update?.
