Why doesn't EGM get to review the game in time?

Usually reviews for big games come out in the issue before release, but in the latest issue with Smash on the cover they do not list it in the listing of reviews for the next issue. That would mean the review would hit in the weeks after release. I hope this doesn't indicate that one month delay. Maybe Sakurai just wants to give it to reviewers at the last minute so that nothing is leaked. Or perhaps it hasn't gone gold just yet.

I put about ten seconds of thought into this as opposed to extremely long threads here analyzing every aspect of Melee/Brawl. I think you're overexaggerating my small paragraph.

Because EGM doesn't give two ****s about Nintendo. They're the most biased multiplatform magazine on the market, Besides game informer.
