Why does this still work?

This glitch has been in the game since it came out yet it still works for some reason. I know it's not particularly useful but I think its funny that they decided to leave this in. What are your thoughts, is it the stage that misplaces the Great Fox's lasers, or is it the mechanics of the psi magnet?

ooo damn i never even knew that was a thing i could see it being able to work with rosiluma too but like in the video i could see it being actually useful as in one of those circumstances but that was crazy XD

That...is insane.
It's probably the properties of the PSI Magnet, as it absorbs other energy projectiles in the same way, and the ship's lasers are just so big that, while they loop around Ness, they (and their hitboxes) fly all over the stage. As for what @ Mizzy Moe said, I think this would work even better with Rosalina because her Down Special is specifically meant to hit people with projectiles.
And they said Corneria was banned...

@ misterOWAIN33 I tested this with Rosalina sometime after both of you suggested it and it does not produce the same result. For some reason, she doesn't affect the Great Fox's lasers and just gets shot. Either that, or she affects the first shot and gets shot by the other shots before anything significant can happen.
