why did this happen...

well i was messing around with ness and i ran off the stage then liek pressed back tword the stage and did a down b and it like pulled me into the stage like i was hugging the wall. also i tried it again but like i went a foot off the stage then it pushed me back on while i was doing down b can anyone explain?

no it was more of like the stage was magnetic but i still kept falling idk it always happened by chance and so i forgot to hold b

I'm guessing you b-reversed the down-b.....which changes your momentum.

I do that for under-the stage pk hops. (first jump pk jumps =p thats what I call them)

yep. happens to me occasionally to. can be useful when trying to recover.

B-sticking cant be used to recover in any practical way.

Still, if you go into practice mode then you can learn to conserve the jump and then b-stick

Bsticking with Ness is not that great for recovery,
