Why did I KO Fox at 92% with F-Air?

Was it because I was playing the Goddess of LIGHT!? (Puns aside...) Why did I KO him though with Palutena's F-Air? I know he is a lightweight character but I used F-Air though, which is not a kill move at 92% or anything below 150. My thought was that I got him with my Holy Foot of Angelic Nails at the edge, and Final Destination Midgar is super small. But hey, what do I know, maybe I played against a level 9 computer that didn't know how to DI.
